Cub Scout Pack 234 completed another successful holiday food drive by collecting
over 275lbs of canned goods and non-perishable food items for a local food pantry.
The Kroger grocery store located in Worthington Ohio donated bags that our Scouts
decorated during the November Pack meeting, and then we distributed the bags
around the Bluffsview School neighborhoods about a week before our project. A flyer
glued to the bag let our friends and neighbors know when we'd be around caroling and
collecting. The scouts had a great time, and we finished the evening with hot
chocolate! Way to go Pack 234!!

Pack 234 visited the Columbus Airport during two Saturday evenings in September and
October to welcome back our veterans on their Honor Flight. The program allows veterans
from WW II and now the Korean War to travel to Washington DC to visit their respective
memorials and see the sights of the town. Upon their return the veterans are greeted at the
airport with as much appreciation as the community can create. Various veteran and
scouting organizations, The Ohio State University Marching Band, and friends and family
make signs and thank our veterans!

Cub Scouts from Pack 234 are fortunate to have Camp Lazarus located right up SR 23
from our school. The scouts get to participate in many fun events there, including scout
camp, the Maple Syrup Festival, and Christmas at Camp Lazarus. And, every fall thye
have the opportunity to try the Scout Shoot-O-Ree - Check out some pics from this fun
